The range of courses on offer is vast and you will find an NVQ course available in almost every business and public service sector.

FREE COURSES are available for those currently lacking qualifications - especially in literacy and numeracy. A first NVQ equivalent to A level or GCSE may often be free too. Achieving that first qualification can open new avenues for further study and work.

To assist the unemployed or those receiving some benefits there are a wide range of free courses available.

For those in employment your company may well offer free training relevant to your job.

There are several 100s of NVQs to choose from, some of the most popular subjects in 2022-2023 being in the areas of:

Level 2, 3 & 4.

Those involved in Childminding, Health, Nursery or Social Work would find a Health & Social Care NVQ to be a great benefit.

 

 

Level 2, 3, 4 & 5.

A Teaching NVQ would be suitable for those who provide support for learning activities or assist in the care and support of pupils in the classroom.

Level 2 & 3.

A Plumbing NVQ is primarily aimed at those with aspirations to be a qualified Heating Engineer or Plumber.

Level 2, 3 & 4.

A Childcare NVQ may be taken in Care, Early Years Care and Education, Playwork or Caring for Children and Young People.

Level 1, 2 & 3.

Whilst taking a Hairdressing NVQ you will learn all about shampoo, cutting, styling, colouring and perming hair. Health & Safety, reception duties and client consultation will also be covered.

Level 1, 2, 3 & 4.

Anyone working in the areas of Finance, Pensions, Payroll, Legal or Secretarial would be likely to benefit from an administration NVQ.

Level 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5.

A management NVQ may suit people in a wide range of jobs as diverse as Construction, Logistics, Customer services, Cleaning, Leisure, Health & Safety, Agriculture, Pensions or the Police.

Level 2 & 3.

A catering NVQ will typically appeal to those working as Bar and restaurant staff, Kitchen staff or Shop staff, as well as those involved Conference and Banqueting or those in the role of Supervisor or Manager.

Level 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5.

Some of the most popular courses in the construction sector are in Surveying, Property maintenance, Roadbuilding, Demolition, Plastering, Plant installation, Plant maintenance, Project control and Construction site supervision.
